Meghan Markle’s Bridal Beauty Look Was Perfect Princess And Here’s Why
Meghan Markle was the ultimate princess bride
Oh that Meghan Markle. The former Suits actress married everybody’s fave prince on May 19 and the whole world let out a cheer. Why? Well, a couple of reasons actually. Meghan is bi-racial – tick, tick. At 36 she’s slightly older than her new husband Prince Harry and she’s been married before. Yes. Meghan Markle is a divorcee!
Of course, there’s also the fact that woman did her wedding in major STYLE. Her Givenchy wedding gown was stunning. Designed by Clare Waight Keller, Meghan’s gown was perfect. Chic, flattering and also, slightly sexy despite being, on the whole, demure. And then there was Meghan makeup. Cue heavy sighs and swooning here.
Finally a bride, a royal bride no less, swept down the aisle with a fresh, dewy complexion that only highlighted her natural beauty.
Utterly beautiful, Meghan let her skin show, including the smattering of freckles that are dotted across her nose and cheeks. #Adorable. Her cheeks were highlighted with a natural, dusky rose (think I just thought of something sexy and flushed a little) and her lips similar. Her sheer, fresh, youthful look was nothing less than angelic and we can’t applaud her enough for it.
Makeup is fun. Always. And you can go as hard or as easy as you like. We love cosmetics in all styles and on all folk. But there was something terribly lovely about seeing Meghan look so dewy and fresh. If you’d like to try and recreate her look remember to do this first. Moisturise. Like properly. And give your chosen product a good 15 minutes to absorb.
Press the palms of your hands to your face too. This will warm the product and help it absorb. Then, apply your favourite sheer foundation or even tinted moisturiser. A hint of blush, a swipe of tinted lip gloss and you’re good to go.
All you need do is find your prince.
